Our Story

We are global citizens with a curiosity for other cultures and the passion to share and celebrate traditional crafts with the world.

Travelling across Central and South America on an adventure that spanned six years, we immersed ourselves in local communities opting for slow mindful travel. We danced ‘til dawn in Cuba, learnt silversmithing and hat making in Mexico and said “I will” in Argentina.

With backgrounds in fashion and photography, we’ve always shared a passion for art, design and collecting beautiful objects. One of our favourite past times is exploring markets, learning about different traditions and connecting with locals. Inspired by these artisanal communities, we founded Piece Collectors in 2014 to share and celebrate their skilled workmanship, help preserve their artisan heritage and to gain a deeper connection to these communities.
